Stones bow out of competition…….

Wealdstone bravely exited the London Senior Cup last night after losing 3-2 after extra time at home to Fisher Athletic.

Danny Green gave the visitors the lead but the Stones equalised after Stephen Hughes converted the penalty won by Ryan Ashe.

Reserve striker Wayne Reid fired Wealdstone in front after 55 minutes with his first goal for the club.

But Green’s second of the night seven minutes from time forced extra time and Gavin Heroo netted the winning goal.
