Hastings Utd 1 – 3 Wealdstone

The Stones boosted their survival hopes on Saturday after a 3-1 win at Hastings United. First-half goals from debutant Liam Henderson, Graeme Montgomery and a Stephen Hughes penalty handed them their first Ryman Premier victory since Boxing Day.
Bartlett was particularly pleased with the displays of Henderson and Dale Bennett after they signed on loan from Watford.
Bartlett added: “I was delighted with their work ethic and desire. They obviously have quality because they are with a pro club and we just needed a spark and a couple of changes to the team
“Watford take their youngsters very seriously and it’s nice we can help with their education. I think the reason we got them is because of how John-Joe O’Toole and Theo Robinson have done with us in the past.”
One player exiting the club is Lee O’Leary after he was released from his contract. The midfielder is expected to complete a move to Hendon in the next week.
The Stones face a stern test this weekend when they host runaway leaders Chelmsford.
“They are the Chelsea of the Ryman League,” the manager said.
“They have the financial clout and are the team everyone fancied at the start of the season.”
