Stones pre-season good form continued  with a 1 – 0 win over a full strength Harrow Borough side. In a hard match, both sides dominated the game for spells, although both defences coped with the majority of what the opposition could offer and chances at both ends were limited.

The goal that decided the match came from a Stones corner, headed on by Reeve to Beckford, unmarked at the back of the penalty area, his inch perfect volley giving the visiting keeper no chance.

It was not as flowing a Stones performance, but consider that Carter, Godfrey, White, Carvell, Amarteifio, Fisher, Campbell, Shaw and Hercules who haev all figured in the first team during Pre Season, for a variety of reasons were unavailable.
