Another victory for the Wealdstone squad, and a squad it was, as only five of the side had first team experience, the oldest of those Billy Amarteifio at 20!
The match was even until around the 70th minute when Wealdstone’s extra fitness began to tell, and among the many changes, Ricky Pither beat the defence and scored low past the goalkeeper to give Stones the lead, Terry Chamberlin scoring the second from a penalty in a 2 – 0 win.
