Wealdstone’s good pre-season form continued last night with a 5 – 1 win at Division 1 South side, Egham Town.

Both teams fielded strong sides, although there were a couple of trialists in each squad.

Wealdstone were stronger and quicker from the start, Morgan and Hunt scoring in the first half to give Stones the lead. The second half saw Stones dominate but fail to score for twenty five minutes, letting the home side get one back before three goals in the last quarter of an hour sealed a convincing win.
