WealdstoneAnother good pre season workout, this time for two Wealdstone sides, as Manager Gordon Bartlett fielded two different XI’s in the two halves of the fixture with landlords, Edgware Town FC.
Ty Hercules opened the scoring on 38 minutes, beating three defenders and foxing the keeper before shooting home, and Marvin Morgan, who had come on for Jermain Beckford scored a second two minutes later with a header.
Marvin started the second half an scored again with a header, his height beating the home keeper to the ball on 70 minutes, and Carl Hunt rounded of the scoring with a tap in at the far post just before the end. Stones used 22 players, but there were still nine others who figured against Hendon midweek who were not involved.
