Bartlett delight at youngster….

Wealdstone manager Gordon Bartlett was pleased youngster Nick Salapatas took his opportunity in Sunday’s win at Hendon.

The 18-year-old came off the bench and scored the second goal to seal the Stones’ 2-1 win on the closing day of the season.

Bartlett said: “I felt it was unfair to use the youngsters when we were battling against relegation but we had an opportunity to put them in this match.

“We sent Nick to Hillingdon Borough for experience and this was only his second game for us but it was a nice way to finish for him.”
