Ten man Wealdstone crashed to a disastrous 5-2 home defeat to Carshalton in the Ryman Premier yesterday.

The Stones were 1-0 down in the opening minutes and were reduced to ten men after just three minutes when Aaron Goode gave away a penalty. The visitors converted the spot-kick before Peter Dean’s header reduced the deficit.

But Carshalton went on a scoring blitz after the break and only Chris O’Leary’s late effort salvaged some pride. The defeat leaves Wealdstone with plenty of work to secure their status in the division…..
