Tooting & Mitcham 3 – 2 Wealdstone

3 - 2

Sandy Lane!
It certainly was for the last game in the famous old ground, now really showing its age.
A poor pitch was match by a poor Stones performance in the first half, going behind early on after a mix up between Carter and Hunt, and then luckily not going further behind as the hosts had a goal disallowed on half time.
The second half was better, Stones equalising through a Perry penalty, only to concede two more goals quite quickly. Hammatt restoring some pride at least with another for Stones just before the end. A shorter report than usual as i wasn’t there !
