Thame United 0 – 3 Wealdstone
0 - 3
Stones visited Thame looking to lay the bogey of recent seasons which saw Thame regularly score 4 home or away against Wealdstone, and they got off to a good start with a 2 – 0 lead inside 25 minutes.
The first was a shot on the turn from just inside the box from Marvin Morgan and the second, a cross from Rob Courtnage on the left that Richard Jolly was able to head home from close range.
By all accounts it was a deserved lead that Wealdstone held up to the break.
The second half again saw Wealdstone press on without making their advantage count further until five minutes from time, when great work by Marvin Morgan left the home defence standing, and his square ball was slotted home by Richard Jolly for Stones third and his second of the afternoon.
Stones happy then with a 3-0 win
