So Pre Season got under way with a visit to Portsmouth Royal Navy…

Intended as a good shakedown match, it was a good competitive match played in good spirit and enjoyed by the 80 odd people watching.

There were a number of new faces in a strong Wealdstone side, and a couple of good performances, so there’s enough to watch as Pre-season develops.

Goals from Danny Tilbury on 7 minutes, a through ball from Richard McDonagh setting him up for a low shot just inside the box and a header from about 8 yards from Marvin Morgan on 32 minutes gave Stones a two goal lead, although a penalty a minute later brought the Navy back into the match.
