In similar fashion to Saturday Stones were under early pressure from the kick off but again, soon get into their stride to take the game to their opponents.

The first half was fairly even, Stones just shading it with perhaps the best chances as Morgan twice and jolly went close, but the home defence held firm – the closest to a goal was a Morgan header very well saved by the home keeper, however he punched the ball onto his own defenders face and could only watch as the ball sailed back past the post!

Stones started brighter in the second half but were still unable to make the breakthrough as again the home defence did well, and as the game wore on Kingstonian became more assured and they too caused the Stones defence some problems, Andy Carter saving well on a couple of occasions and also collection crosses well into the box. It was end to end stuff throughout the ninety minutes but with few clear cut chances created, Stones perhaps a little unfortunate not to have stolen the three points, but after a win and a draw and two clean sheets in two games, no-one is complaining.

It won’t last (past tonight) but hey – Top o’ the league, Wealdstone…
