Thank God its over!

And we really mean it!

Stones most disappointing season for a long time ended as you would expect with a poor 4-0 away defeat at Bromley.

A young side, tired and missing a number of players due to injury was outplayed by Bromley, who scored tow goals in each half and were rarely under threat.

Stones best chance came in the second half when a header hit the bar and fell to a Bromley defender who then cleared it by again hitting the bar, but there was some promise shown from Perry and Fry when they came on as Subs.

Little else of any note to report except the superb support from the travelling fans who, having seen the side secure their safety and the Club get the Planning permission, really weren’t that bothered what happened.

Honest Opinion?  From the players point of view there was nothing to play for. It would have been nice had they shown a little more passion and respect for the fans who support them so well.
