Preview – Chelmsford City – 16 Apr -19:45

We travel to the Melbourne Park Stadium, the home of Chelmsford City tomorrow (16 Apr) evening for our latest Vanarama National League South game kick-off 19:45

Our hosts are presently sitting in 3rd place on 65 points from 38 games played having won 18, drawn 11 and lost 9 scoring 61  and conceding 43 goals.  On their last league outing they strengthened  their play-off hopes with a 4-2 away win at East Thurrock United.  When we met the ‘Clarets’ ’ back in mid August at The Vale it was the visitors who secured the 3 points with a  2-0 win played in front of a crowd of 908.

The Stones Management team and squad suffered a disappointing set-back yesterday losing 2-1 at Poole Town having taken an early lead from a Ryan Sellers effort, it will be interesting to see how they react to  playing two away games this week against sides who are looking to ‘cement’ their play-off aspirations.

Get behind the lads, make plenty of noise and offer encouragement and support throughout the 90+ minutes tomorrow night.
