Preview – Bath City – 7 Apr – KO 15:00

We welcome Bath City to The Vale this Saturday(7 Apr)  for our latest Vanarama National League South game kick off 15:00.

Our visitors are currently sitting just outside the play-off positions in 10th place on 54 points from 37 games played having won 14 drawn 12 and lost 11 scoring 54  and conceding 43 goals. On their last league outing on Easter Monday they secured a comfortable 5-1 home win over local rivals Gloucester City. When we met the ‘Romans’ back in September at Twerton Park the points were shared that day with a 0-0 draw watched by a crowd of 645.

Following our blank Easter weekend as a result of two waterlogged pitches the Stones management  team and players  will be looking to get back to playing some ‘football’ this Saturday. No team news to report at the time of preparing this review, we can  expect an intriguing and close fought match with both sides looking to grab the points on offer. As ever get behind the lads from the off, make plenty of noise and offer encouragement throughout the 90+minutes game time on Saturday.
