Preview – Gloucester City – Sat 12 Aug – KO15:00

We travel to The Spiers & Hartwell Jubilee Stadium this Saturday to face Gloucester City in our latest Vanarama national Leagues South game kick-off 15:00.

Our hosts are  ground sharing with Evesham Utd this season – directions can be found HERE.

It is now 10 years since Meadow Park was submerged under flood waters which has resulted in  ‘The Tigers’ ground sharing at Forest Green Rovers, Cirencester Town & Cheltenham Town. Planning permission was granted in 2014 to return to the City of Gloucester.

Last season they competed in the Vanarama National League North finishing in 10th place on 64 points from the 42 games played. This season, having been transferred to the NL South has seen two defeats, losing 0-2 last Saturday at Chelmsford City and 0-3 on Monday night at home to Truro City.

The Stones Management team and squad will be looking to fine tune matters following the first two games. Having established a pattern of play in both games which saw long periods of dominance and control the lads need to take the chances which such play creates, which in turn will lead to winning the game by a good margin.

Get behind the lads from the off, make plenty of noise as we go in search of the 3 points on offer

Admission charges: Adults: £13,  Concessions: £7 (65 + yrs, NUS), 13-17 year-olds: £7 ,Children 12 and under are admitted free.
