New home kit for 2017/18
Wealdstone FC is delighted to reveal its stylish new home kit that will worn by the first team for the next two seasons.
For the ninth year running Stones have partnered with top distributers ProKit UK who supply Macron team wear, manufacturers of superior quality kit and have launched a bespoke full blue kit incorporating a resplendent yellow and white vertical stripe insert.
Our main club sponsor GPF Lewis will once again have their logo emblazoned across the front of the shirt in a style which is similar to that worn during the successful Ryman Premier League campaign in 2014.
The new kit is available for PRE-ORDER on-line via the Wealdstone FC Megastore NOW and orders are scheduled to be available for collection in the shop from our first pre-season friendly against Fulham on Sat 8th July. Full details and pre-orders via this link: http://www.wfcmegastore.co.uk/
Wealdstone FC Kit Manager, Tony Waugh said: “This is the sixth bespoke kit we have completed with ProKit and Macron, with every one being unique to Wealdstone. Their brand is the best out there in terms of value and their service is second to none.
‘I’d like to think that the new home and away kits this year will be as successful as the previous kits. We’ve listened to feedback from the fans and this year we have gone for something a bit more traditional in terms of design and colour, particularly with the away kit and we think that both kits will compliment each other well.
‘The selection process starts in October/November and I liaise with ProKit and look at designs, fabrics, colourways etc. We use a template to mock up a kit and when we’re happy we send it over to Macron to produce a sample.
‘That usually arrives in January and changes made if necessary. I then sit down with the club and we go through various colour options as we must register our colours with the league. The sponsors, players and management team all get a look then and give feedback.
‘But most importantly Adam and Mark in the club shop give their feedback on projected sales, I then work out how many shirts and sizes I need and Adam does the same for the shop. We then put our order in and we should have delivery of the new kit in the first week of July.”
Thanks go to Mark Warwick of ProKit and Andreas Pallia of Macron for their continued support and we look forward to working with them for seasons to come.
The club can also confirm that the new AWAY KIT will be launched later in the pre-season.
