Gosport Borough – The Vale – 4 Mar

We welcome Gosport Borough to The Vale this coming  Saturday (4 Mar)  for our latest Vanarama National League South fixture kick-off 15:00

Our visitors are presently sitting in one of the relegation places (20th ) on 25 points having won 6, drawn 7 and lost 18 scoring 31 and conceding 81 goals so far this season. In their last league game they suffered a 6-0 defeat at home to Hemel Hempstead Town. When we met at Privet Park back in October Stones came away with a 3-1 win courtesy of goals from Elliot Benyon (2) and Matt Whichelow,

Following the  battling performance  on Saturday at Welling Utd which resulted in a 1-0 win the same starting eleven started the game at Clarence Park last night against St Albans City which finished with another solid team performance resulting in a  3 -0 win with goals from Joe White, Tom Hamblin & Danny Green.  It will be interesting to see if the Stones management team look to pick an unchanged starting eleven come Saturday as we look to get back to winning ways at The Vale.

Thank you to the Mark Barton for sponsoring the game and Wealdstone Ladies FC for the match ball donation.
