Dartford – The Vale – Sat 28 Jan
We welcome Dartford to The Vale this coming Saturday (28 Jan) for our latest Vanarama National League South fixture kick-off 15:00.
Our visitors are presently sitting in 3rd place in the league on 50 points having won 15, drawn 5 and lost 5 scoring 43 and conceeding 27 goals so far this season. In their last league game at home (17 Jan) they beat Weston-super-Mare 3-2 and on Tuesday night they met Eastbourne Borough away and ran out winners by the same 3-2 score line.
The Stones management team and squad will be ready for another hard fought and close encounter with the ‘Darts’, it seems a long time ago when we meet back on the opening day of season in August and came away from Princes Park with a 2-2 draw with goals from Benyon and Oshodi.
Ahead of the kick-off there will be a minutes applause to celebrate the life of Steve Browne. In a solid career Steve played in over 120 competitive games for Wealdstone in three spells scoring 30 goals, also playing and managing at several other clubs.
