Chelmsford City – 18 Mar – The Vale

We welcome Chelmsford City to The Vale this coming  Saturday (18 Mar)  for our latest Vanarama National League South fixture kick-off 15:00.

Our visitors are presently sitting in 4th place in the league on 62 points having won 17, drawn 11 and lost 5 scoring 69 and conceding 39 goals so far this season. In their last league game they beat Eastbourne Borough 5-1. When we met at the Melbourne Stadium  earlier in the season the home team ran out comfortable 4-1 winners.

The Stones management team and squad will go into this game buoyed by the recent run of excellent form, however they will be under no illusion as this will be a tough game against one the fancied play-off sides. Last night’s victory in the MFA Senior Charity Cup also saw the return of Matty Whichelow and Elliot Benyon to the squad where they gained some valuable game time, both should be available for selection on Saturday.

Thank you to our match-day sponsors, who are all remembering lost love ones:-

In Memory of Derek Reader,  In Memory of Darren Hooker and In Loving Memory of Richard Robbins.
