We welcome St Albans City to The Vale tomorrow night for our first home Vanarama National League South fixture of the 2016/17 campaign kick-off 19:45.
Stones played out an entertaining 2-2 draw, in front of 1,002 spectators, at Dartford yesterday gaining parity with a with a late, late Eddie Oshodi header to go with the earlier Elliot Benyon strike. The Saints registered a 2-0 opening day home win over Concord Rangers a with a first half goal from on-loan Stevenage forward Dipo Akinyema and a Junior Morias strike in the 92nd minute
Get behind the lads from the off, make plenty of noise for the 90+ minutes as we go in search of the 3 points on offer.
Match day Admission: Adults -£13, Concession – £8, Under 18s – £3 and Under 16’s FREE for our games in August.
Our Premiership/Championship Season Ticket offer applies to this game – just show your current ST at the Turnstile and gain entry to the game for just £8. Armed Services personnel can also gain entry to our League games for just £8 on production of their ID card at the turnstile.
Please note, pay on the day entry to the ground is through turnstile’s 1 to 3, turnstile 4 is for Season Ticket holders and other official passes (players, scout, complementary etc.) No entry to the ground will be allowed through the metal gates except for suitably badged individuals so please allow plenty of time to get into the ground prior to kick-off.
FREE Parking on the adjacent grass area to the stadium will be in operation, please follow directions from the match-day stewards. Alternatively you can park in the side streets near to the ground or use one of the pay & display car parks which are within 10–12 minutes walk of the stadium (see map HERE for assistance). Please be aware the Local Hillingdon Traffic Enforcement Department will be out and about and if you happen to park your vehicle inappropriately in the one of the side streets you are likely to get a ticket. You have been warned!
Public Transport – Met Line/Piccadilly service(s) should be operating as normal to Ruislip Manor or Ruislip. The Central Line will also be running a normal service (alight at Ruislip Gardens and then a 12-15 minute walk to the ground or cross the road and catch the E7 bus towards Ruislip) – Check TfL website for latest info HERE
Make sure you pick-up your match-day programme (£2.50) on your way-in to the stadium and your golden goals tickets (£1 a ticket, first goal wins £50 last goal wins £10). Lynn Evans and her team will be serving hot food (burgers (with cheese and bacon or just plain + salard), chicken burgers, bacon and sausage rolls and fish finger in a roll plus hot and cold drinks from the catering unit situated behind the WFC Megastore from 18.30. Prices range from £2.50 for rolls to £3.50 for plain burgers and 50p extra for fillings. A portion of chips will set you back £1.50 of £2. The tea bar in the ground will be providing hot & cold drinks and nibbles as usual. The Ruislip Social Club is open from 17:00 for a beer.
We are also expecting Hat Trick Productions Ltd to be at the game filming for a forthcoming BBC 2 current affairs entertainment programme to be shown next year…….
