Match Preview – Histon – Sat 17 Sep

20160917_histon_proggie_-coverWe welcome Histon FC  to The Vale this coming  Saturday (17 Sep)  for an Emirates FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round tie  kick-off 15:00

Our visitors are members of the Evo Stick Southern Central One  League and have reached this stage of the competition having despatched Lowestoft Town 2-0 away from home in the last round. In terms of their League campaign after just 6 games they are at the foot of the embryonic  table having drawn 1 and lost 5 scoring just once and conceding fifteen.

Following our 1-0 win at Concord Rangers yesterday, courtesy of a second half Tom Hamblin header , the Stones Management Team and squad will take nothing for granted come Saturday and will be well prepared for what is likely to be an intriguing game.

A big thank you to our Match Sponsor Mick Fishman & Peter Worby plus  Graham Clark & Mike Pullin  for the match ball donation.
