Maidstone Utd – Sat 12 Mar – KO 3.00pm
We welcome Maidstone Utd to the Freebets.co.uk Stadium this Saturday for our latest Vanarama National League South fixture kick-off 3.00pm.
The game will not be segregated and all fans are free to use the Social club facilities prior to and post match and are asked to follow any instructions/directions provided by the match-day stewards. We also follow the tradition of changing ends at half-time…….
Our visitors, promoted last season from the Ryman Premier League are comfortably sitting in one of the play-off spots with 60 points having won 19, dawn 3 & lost 9 scoring 38 and conceding 24 so far this season. On Tuesday night they travelled to Oxford City where they ran out 3-2 winners.
The midweek Middlesex Senior Charity Cup game versus Hanworth Villa provided an opportunity for both Jonathan North and Jack Smith to get some valuable game time as they return from injury. Whether they feature on Saturday will be down to the management team, one player who should be available though is Jonny Wright who missed out on Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Concord Rangers through suspension.
We can expect a hard fought and quite a close game as both sides battle it out for the 90+minutes so get behind the lads from the off and make plenty of noise as we go in search of the points on Saturday.
A big thank-you to our Match-day sponsor ‘ProKit’ and Match Ball Sponsors Gordon McKay and Alan Palmer .
The Club are also offering up to 4 lucky fans the chance to be wined & dined in the boardroom pre, half time & post match this Saturday in the company of WFC legends George Duck, Willie Watson, John Morton, Billy Byrne & John Henderson.
Tickets for this intimate experience are £69 each ( inc. match tickets) on a first come first served basis so please contact Paul Rumens for this one off fantastic opportunity on 07710 929692.
Also in attendance this Saturday are the Hillingdon District schools under 12’s who have won the 2015/16 Watkin League Cup having competed with Camden & Islington, Brent, Haringey & Barnet schools representative teams. The Hillingdon lads play Under 12 football for Wealdstone (5) Sandgate (3), Northwood, QPR & Martin Bakers FC.
There will be a bucket collection by the Highgrove pool and fitness centre folk as part of Sport Relief on Saturday, so bring plenty of loose change……
If travelling by public transport to the Freebets.co.uk Stadium this Saturday please be aware that there are planned engineering works on the Met Line which impact services from Central London; trains start at Wembley Park towards Uxbridge. The Jubliee line is running normally (change at Wembley Park) as is the Chiltern Railways service between Marylebone and Harrow-on-the-Hill. The Piccadilly line is also expected to be running a normal service.
