Gordon Bartlett Signs New Contract

Gordon_Bartlett_12_13Wealdstone FC is delighted to announce that Gordon Bartlett, who enters a remarkable 21st year in charge of the Stones this campaign, has signed a new two year contract.

His track record is second to none and I have seen time and time again how many players are attracted to Wealdstone simply because of Gordon Bartlett. The respect for Gordon throughout the game is totally deserved. Gordon joined Wealdstone in June 1995 having previously had successful spells as Manager of Yeading, Hounslow and Southall. He is an UEFA ‘A’ licence holder and has included amongst his coaching roles that of F.A. tutor assessor and Middlesex County Coach. As a Manager, he has had Cup success, leading both Southall and Yeading to F.A. Vase Finals at Wembley, and numerous County Cup finals. Since joining Wealdstone he has guided them to four promotions and has achieved major success in moving players into the professional ranks. Gordon is a School Teacher and he was a player with Portsmouth, Denver Dynamos (USA) Brentford, Slough Town and Hayes
