Football Conference Youth Alliance – Sponsorship News
The Football Conference Youth Alliance (FCYA) is pleased to announce Prospect Training Services (PTS) has taken up their option after 3 seasons of Title Sponsorship of the competition to continue with its support for a further 3 year seasons, ending 30 June 2018.
This is great news as during the past 3 seasons with the backing of PTS, the FCYA has grown beyond all recognition to become the largest competition of its kind in the country, with its current membership of clubs at a record level of 100, with a further 18 applications already seeking accreditation and submitted to the FCYA Board for next season.
Allied to the numerical growth of the competition and its financial stability, the FCYA were able to move in 2012 into new offices in Worcester and now have three dedicated staff members to administer the competition, with a staggering 3476 players registered.
PTS who operate many government backed schemes for young people and other community projects are ideal sponsors to have as partners and their association and commitment only enhances the growing reputation of the FCYA. All clubs in the FCYA membership must have an education provider for students registered to play in the competition and the ethos behind its formation 15 years ago has been surpassed on many occasions over the years.
Louise Pinnell, Managing Director at PTS said “As a leading provider of youth training, Prospect Training Services are enormously proud to be linked to the Football Conference Youth Alliance. The young people nurtured through the Youth Alliance framework level are our footballers and coaches of the future and we are very pleased to be associated with them”.
Wayne Allen, Chair of the FCYA commented “Our partnership with Prospect Training Services has enabled us to plan ahead, assured in what we aim to achieve we are able to deliver a brand of football and education which is unique across the country. We fill a gap in the football market which caters superbly for 16-19 year olds to not only continue their academic learning but also their football development and skills. As an indirect consequence we offer employment to college and teaching staff, many of whom move on within their own environment to become first class educationalists. We are therefore indebted to Louise and her company and their excellent staff for the support they have already provided and which they will readily now offer again during the next three years”.
