The ‘Emirates’ FA Cup – Biggleswade Town – The Vale – Sat 26 Sep
We welcome Biggleswade Town of the Evo-Stick Southern League Premier Division this Saturday for our ‘Emirates’ FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round tie kick-off 3:00pm.
We have only played the ‘ Waders ‘ twice previously, the last time being in the same competition back in 2012 when the Stones were victorious with a 2-0 win goals coming from Richard Jolly & Peter Dean. Our visitors overcame Brantham Athletic 2-1 in the 1st Qualifying round and are presently sitting in 13th place in their league having won 4 drawn 1 and lost 4, scoring 18 and conceding 14 goals. The Stones management team should have a full squad to choose from except for Ryan Watts who is out presently with a foot injury. Make sure you get behind the lads from the off and cheer them on as we seek to get into the next round of The ‘Emirates’ FA Cup.
The Rollin Kitchen will be on hand turning out burgers/hot dogs etc from around 13:30, the RSC will be open as usual for a pre-match drink and the Tea Bar in the ground will open serving the usual hot drinks, snacks & ice creams.
