Chelmsford City – The Vale – Sat 12 Sep
We welcome Chelmsford City to The Vale this Saturday (Sep 12) for our latest Vanarama National League South fixture kick-off 3:00pm. We also welcome the Stones 1985 Double Winning team to the game as guests for what should be a great day on and off the pitch.
Former Chairman, Nick Symmons will escort the Double Winning players and staff onto the pitch at around 2.55 where there will be a minutes applause in recognition of their achievement, the first in senior Non-League football, before the game between the Stones & Chelmsford players of today gets underway. Make sure you are in the ground in good time to join in.

The Rollin Kitchen will be on hand turning out burgers/hot dogs etc from around 13:00, the RSC will be open as usual for a pre-match drink and the Tea Bar in the ground will open serving the usual hot drinks, snacks & ice creams. Make sure you buy your Golden Goals as you enter the ground (£1 a go, £50 for first goal & £10 last goal to be won).
Match day Admission is £12 Adults, £7 Concessions and £2 under 16’s. The Club are pleased to announce that the Pro-club Season Ticket match-day deal will be in operation again this season where entry can be gained to The Vale on production of said valid ticket for 15/16 at just £6.
The Manchester United versus Liverpool game will be showing live on Sky Sports at 5.30pm after the Chelmsford game and ‘Still Marillion’ will be on stage in the Main Hall later in the evening, tickets £12 on the door or in advance from www.Tropicatruislip.co.uk
FREE Parking on the adjacent playing field will be in operation (unless it has been tipping down with rain!). Met Line service should be operating as normal to Ruislip Manor or Ruislip. The Central Line will also be running a normal service (alight at Ruislip Gardens and then a 12-15 minute walk to the ground or cross the road and catch the E7 bus towards Ruislip) – Check TfL website for latest info HERE
Please note, pay on the day entry to the ground is through turnstile’s 1 to 3, turnstile 4 is for Season Ticket holders and other official passes (players, scout, complementary etc) – if you arrive early can still purchase a ticket at turnstile 4 before heading off for some pre-match libation, on entry to the ground you can use your ticket at any turnstile.
