Bath City – Sat 21 Nov – KO 3:00pm

20151121_Bath_city_Whitehawk_proggie_coverWe welcome Bath City to the Freebets.co.uk stadium this Saturday (21 Nov) for our latest Vanarama National League South fixture  kick-off 3:00pm.

It seems an age ago when we met ‘The Romans’ on the opening day of the season back in Aug where they shaded proceedings at Twerton Park with a 2-1 win. They then went on a  6 game winning streak, drawing their next 3 games and  suffering their first setback in mid Sep when they lost 3-1 at Gosport Borough in the league. The Romans currently have 26 points and sit 7th in the league  having won 7, drawn 5 & lost 5 scoring 23 and conceding 19 goals.

The Stones management team and squad go in search of their first League points this month after successive 1-0 league away defeats at St. Albans City last Saturday and Maidstone Utd on Tuesday. With our record against ‘The Romans’ down the years being somewhat indifferent it certainly makes Saturday’s game an intriguing encounter as both sides look to bag the points on offer.

Get behind the lads from the off and roar them on to victory……

Ahead of Saturday’s match kick-off there will be a minutes applause to celebrate the life of Mick Wells who recently passed away. Mick was a staunch Stones supporter of many years standing and through his  generosity sponsorship  of our main stand at The Vale. Our thoughts and love go out to Sandra, Matt and Jamie at this tough time.

Now that we are well into November parking in the main car park is  now limited to players, officials, staff and club guests on match days, please therefore park in the side streets near to the ground or use  one of the  pay & display car parks which are within 10-12 minutes walk of  the stadium (see map HERE for assistance). Please be aware the Local Hillingdon Traffic Enforcement Department will be out and about and if you happen to park your vehicle inappropriately in the one of  the side streets you are likely to get a ticket. You have been warned!

Make sure you pick-up your match-day programme (£2.50)on your way-in to the stadium and pick up your golden goals tickets (£1 a ticktet, first goal wins £50 last goal wins £10). The ‘Rollin Kitchen’ will be turning out hot food & drinks from 13:00 and the tea bar in the ground will be providing hot & cold drinks and nibbles.

The November Team Draw will made at half-time on Saturday so make sure you listen out to find if you are one of the lucky eleven winners.
