Stones to launch ground breaking catering initiative – Update

Stones Menu 14_15Wealdstone FC is delighted to announce a ground breaking initiative, which will see the Club not only transform its on site catering but partner with two Michelin star trained chefs Bryn Griffith and Mateusz Halarewicz in a new business venture, The Rollin’ Kitchen.

The new food on offer will be sourced from the finest ingredients, be competitively priced and is expected to be among the tastiest at any football ground – league or non league.

Food will not just be available on match days either with the Club seeing this as offer to provide a catering service for multiple events taking place at Grosvenor Vale; including gig nights and other days when the site will be in heavy use such as youth tournaments or when visiting supporters stop at the site on their way to Wembley.  The Rollin’ Kitchen will also operate on a significant number of additional occasions at pre-determined pitches in the City, West End and specific upmarket food sites.

As part of the new partnership a new state of the art mobile catering trailer along with a new 4×4 pick-up truck will be purchased, with the aim of having everything ready for operation at the beginning of the new season. Money for this investment has been made available to the Club ensuring there is no impact on the playing budget or other day to day activities.

Club President Paul Rumens who instigated this project in conjunction with fellow RSC director Dominic Whyley, said “We and the club are absolutely delighted in obtaining the services of two such qualified chefs and see an all round catering solution, not only match days but also to all the major social club catering. However the real game changer for the Club will see us have the ability to earn money away from the club on a day to day basis. We welcome Bryn and Mateusz into the fold and look forward to a prosperous and mutually beneficial relationship going forward.”

Bryn Griffith of The Rollin’ Kitchen added ” Both Mat and I are delighted to partner with the football club and can only see a win win situation for both parties. This is a great opportunity for us and, being a fan of the club as well, it means even more to me to be successful – both in financial terms but also in giving our customers a great experience.”

The new facility will be available for the first Conference South league game at The Vale.
