Next Up – Stones v The Iron – The Vale Sat 2nd Aug KO 3.00pm

We welcome Conference National side Braintree Town to The Vale on Sat 2nd Aug kick-off 3.00pm for our final home pre-season friendly before our league season starts on Sat 9th Aug. This should be an interesting test for the Stones as both the  management and players seek to build on the work thus far in readiness for the season ahead. We can be assured that our visitors will also be approaching the game in the same way as they look to improve upon what was a an impressive season last year.

A special mention to former Stones favourite Alan Massey who was now playing for the Iron (oh, and we are still looking for some of the balls in the undergrowth which were put there by the left boot of Mr Massey!!) 

Admission is £8 Adults, £4 Concession & £2 Under 16’s (FREE to WFC 2014/15 Season Ticket holders)
