Harrow Borough 0 – 4 Wealdstone

Harrow Borough were swept aside by Wealdstone who took the few chances on offer in blistering conditions at Earlsmead on Saturday.
The first 30 minutes were edged by the home side but after the effective Mark Bentley tapped home for Stones following some great passing movement the result was never going to be in doubt.
Two quick goals early after the turnaround sealed the win for the away side. In the 52 minute new signing Tom Hickey went on a storming run and crossed expertly for Michael Malcolm to net from close range. A few minutes later midfielder Luke Pigden scored another close range effort after a free kick had been lobbed over Harrow’s ineffective defensive wall.
The result was wrapped up 5 minutes from time and with it the best goal of the match. Striker Tom Collins took control of the ball in the middle of the park and hit a sublime volley which left home keeper Michael O’Keefe with no chance to save.
