Godfrey commits future to Wealdstone

Wealdstone midfielder Elliott Godfrey has committed to the club for the new campaign in the Conference South.

Elliott, 31, who completed a fine season for the Stones and was virtually an ever-present in their championship winning season told the Harrow Observer this week: “I’m definitely keen for another dice with Conference South football – I’m 100 per cent sure about it.” The former Canada youth international and AFC Wimbledon player added: “Football-wise we will be fine in that league and I’m relishing the chance to get back in there.”
