WealdstoneThis morning’s friendly against Watford FC Development XI played at the Watford FC Training Ground resulted in a 7-0 win for the Stones. The first half was played in torrential rain and thunder with Wealdstone dominatiing proceedings. Only great goalkeeping by the Watford keeper denied the Stones until Rob Carrick opened the scoring in the 36th minute. Two minutes later he doubled the lead with a great shot from the edge of the penalty area.The second half, with the rain having relented, saw all our substitutes used as Stones added another five goals without reply. Mark Knight scored the first four in the 54th, 75th, 79th & 82nd minutes with Will Stewart finishing our scoring a minute later.
