In the advertized match away at Tring Athletic a goal from Kurtney Brooks after 68 minutes gave Stones a 1-0 win. The line-up at Tring included Scott Fitzgerald who made a welcome return following his long – term injury, was Lloyd Anderson, Ade Adetunji, Oliver Archer, Denzil Conteh, Alan Massey, Darren Locke, Jake Parsons, Kurtney Brooks, Luke Beardsworth, Scott Fitzgerald, Tashan Jordan. The substitutes (all used) were Abiemi Hassan, Richard Owusu, Denilson Barbosa, Elton Scarlett.
In the other match, played at Brunel University, versus Rayners Lane FC Stones came out on top 4-0, goals coming from Peter Martin (10, 47), Danny Keita (63) and Mohamed Saleh (81). The line-up consisted mainly of trialists, the first team squad having trained in the morning, preparing for the Crewe Alexandra friendly on Monday evening at The Vale ko 7.30pm
