Wealdstone ended their run of three 3-1 defeats with an emphatic 5-0 friendly win at Zamaretto Southern Football League Division 1 Central

Aylesbury FC on Saturday. Scott Fitzgerald scored in the 36th & 40th minutes to give Stones a 2-0 lead at half-time. Goals by Lee Chappell (58 mins), Danny
Spendlove (60) and Jon Douglas (87) completed the scoring.

Wealdstone line-up: Shane McWeeney, Rene Steer, Lee Chappell, Wes Parker, Alan Massey, Ryan Ashe, Peter Dean, Kurtney Brooks, Mark E’Beyer, Scott Fitzgerald, Danny Spendlove. Substitutes who came on during the second half were Greg Ngoyi, Adam Logie, Louis Lavers, Danny Burnell, Darren Locke, Jon Douglas, Lee Togwell and Sean Cronin.

This coming Monday evening (2nd  August) Wealdstone have two friendlies, away to Hillingdon Borough and away to Maidenhead United.
