Wealdstone 1-1 Aylesbury United
1 - 1
Manger Gordon Bartlett took the opportunity in this friendly against Aylesbury United on Tuesday evening at The Vale to play a mixed side with the fringe first team players and a number of reserves getting the opportunity for a good run-out. Having scored a hat-trick for the Reserves on Saturday away at Tooting & Mitcham United Frenchman Alioun Fall was drafted in to play up front and he put in a wholehearted display closing down opponents and getting his shots away when the opportunity arose, indeed he was rewarded for his hard work quite early on giving the Stones the lead after just 7 minutes play. The visitors equalised after 25 minutes but the ‘mixed’ Stones had plenty of the play thereafter with the visiting keeper the busier over the 90 minutes play.
Squad: Luke Woods (1st half), Ryan Ashe, Alan Massey, James Gray, Gavin James, Graeme Montgomery (2nd half), Ben Clarke, Mark Boyce (2nd half), Marvin McCoy (2nd half), Nick Salapatas, Kieron Forbes, Alioun Fall, Sam Leggett (keeper 2nd half), Darren Locke
