A mixed Wealdstone side lost 2-3 to Burnham in this hastily arranged extra friendly match on Monday evening at the Gore. The match enabled Stones management to trial some youngsters and look again at some very promising reserve players. Midfielder Ryan Ashe, now returned from his summer break, was also given a valuable run out as was new defender Mark Boyce.
